What you need
- A browser with WebGPU: current Chrome, Edge or Safari. Without it the page says "This browser has no WebGPU". On Linux, Chrome needs
chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu. - Patience on the first load. The page downloads the client, then "game data" (517 files in our test) and "preparing world data" (349). Our first load took several minutes; later visits are faster.
- No account. There is no login. Progress lives in the browser.
- Or Windows: the official site offers a Windows download to play without a browser.
Only play at the real address
The game shows "Fake website detected!" when it is loaded inside another site. Play it at wow.aethus.pl. Sites that claim to embed it are not the game.
Start your first run
- Open the original game. Go to wow.aethus.pl in a current Chrome, Edge or Safari. The first visit downloads the client and game data, then prepares the world.
- Choose a class. Click one of the nine class icons. The panel shows its health, starting spell and spell pool.
- Pick a race and name. Open the Armory to choose race, gender and looks, or press Random for a new name.
- Enter the zone. Elwynn Forest is selected on a new class. Press Enter or click Enter Elwynn Forest.
- Move to begin. Nothing happens until you move. Use WASD; your spells cast on their own.
- Pick level-up cards. Press 1, 2 or 3 to take a card, or R to reroll.
The bottom-right corner shows the version (v0.106.0 when we checked). The zone card lists the boss timers: in Elwynn Forest, Hogger at 3:00, Mother Fang at 6:00, Rhahk’Zor at 9:00, Mr. Smite at 12:00 and Edwin VanCleef at 16:00.

How a run works
The run starts when you move. The top of the screen shows the run clock, "next boss in", and your kills, gold and the price of the next cache. Enemies drop experience wisps and coins; walk over them (your pickup range pulls them in).
- Waves and events: warnings such as "Swarm surrounds you!", "A stampede charges through!", "A wall of foes closes in!" and "A pack hunts you!" announce special waves.
- Elites and guardians: tougher enemies; guardians hold lairs ("Who dares enter my lair?") and give a choice of jewelry when slain, but the other guardians grow stronger.
- Battleground caches: bought with gold (20 at first) for a ring, trinket or amulet.
- Runes and pickups: Speed, Berserker and Restoration runes, and a Magnet ("Everything on the field comes to you"), marked by a pillar of light.
- Bosses: five per zone on a timer. Killing the fifth wins the zone, and you may keep fighting in endless mode.
Level-up cards
Each level pauses the game with three cards. A new spell takes one of 6 spell slots ("Takes a spell slot · 2/6"); an upgraderanks up a spell you know. Rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) decides the size of the bonus. You get 3 free rerolls per run; more come from the Second Thoughts perk, and rerolls can also be bought with gold.
After the run
The end screen shows time survived, level, kills, elites, guardians and bosses slain, damage dealt and taken, gold and caches, and the talent experience your class earned. Choose Again to replay or Main Menu to change class. Spend talent points in the Armory before your next run.
Saves and backups
Progress (heroes, the zones each class has opened, gear, talents and the codex) is stored in your browser. Options → Saves can export it as a file to keep a copy or move it to another computer, import a save, and restore one of the last 5 hourly backups. Importing replaces all of your current progress.
FAQ
How do you play Azeroth Survivors?
Open wow.aethus.pl, choose a class, press Enter and move with WASD. Your spells fire automatically; you choose a new spell or upgrade with 1, 2 or 3 on every level-up, and survive until the zone’s final boss falls.
Can you play Azeroth Survivors on mobile?
The browser version has touch controls and runs on phones with WebGPU, but phone graphics drivers can crash while shaders build (the game then asks you to reload). We tested on desktop; a keyboard or gamepad is the more reliable way to play.
Is there a download?
Yes. The official site links a Windows build (AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar), offered as the way to play "without a browser" or when the browser server is busy.
Does Azeroth Survivors save my progress?
Yes, in your browser, per class: talents, gear, opened zones and the codex. Options → Saves can export a save file, import one, and restore the last 5 hourly backups.
Sources and verification
Checked on October 21, 2026 against Azeroth Survivors v0.106.0 (build 414af44c) in a desktop browser. Names and descriptions come from the game's own menus and English text; numbers marked X grow with talent rank and are only shown in game. Balance changes often, so check the version in the bottom-right corner of the character screen before following an older guide.
