12: Elwynn Forest, Duskwood, Warsong Gulch, Un’Goro Crater, Arathi Basin, Feralas, Gurubashi Arena, Scarlet Monastery, Alterac Valley, Blackrock Mountain, Gates of Ahn’Qiraj and Naxxramas.
How do you unlock new zones?
Kill the final boss of the zone before it. Zones open per class, so a new class starts in Elwynn Forest again ("1 of 12" zones open on the character screen).
What is the last zone?
Naxxramas, opened by killing C’Thun in the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. Its final boss is Kel’Thuzad.
